Leitch Technology Corporation was a Canadian corporation based in Toronto, Ontario specializing in the design and manufacture of equipment for the broadcast television and video post-production industries.

On October 25, 2005, Leitch was acquired by the broadcast division of the Harris Corporation.

In December 2012 Harris Corporation announced to sell the Broadcast Communications devisions to The Gores Group, a global investment firm.
After the acquisition the company was named Harris Broadcast and in March 2014 the company became Imagine Communications and GatesAir.

Today Imagine Communications’ innovation is driving the industry’s move from SDI to IP, from HD to UHD, from hardware-centric to virtualized operations, from proprietary to open standards, and from linear TV to the infinite, revenue-generating possibilities of TV Everywhere.
